Is recycled paper as good as virgin fibre?
You’ve got a really important annual report to get out to your shareholders, or a brochure describing a high value product or service. And one of your colleagues suggests you should be thinking about printing it on recycled paper. What springs to mind?
Aged hippies and recycled toilet paper?
Well thankfully, that’s all ancient history now.
With today’s advanced processing techniques, you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference between many recycled papers and paper from virgin fibre. They are manufactured to the same exacting standards and produce an excellent printed result. Sure, you can still get paper that looks like it’s been made from minced hessian if you want that kind of look, but these days the range is huge and no compromises need to be made.
The only difference your customers will notice is the nice little recycled logo on the back.
And that’s definitely a good thing. |
