Clean design, green design

After good design, our next passion at Morse-Brown Design is green design.
We seek to work in a way that minimizes our impact on the environment and treats all players in the design process fairly. This can be seen in our energy buying, our transport policy, our recycling, and the way our faces light up when we discover that our clients are also keen to be green or fair trade.

This is no passing fancy or a cynical attempt at rebranding. Since working in development in Uganda for three years, John (the director) has been passionate about fair trade and trade justice, and has been positively evangelical about renewable energy since his teens. (Some may think building a parabolic solar reflector in your garden or cycling 850 miles on holiday a tad extreme, but hey - whatever floats your boat!)

All our electricty is from 100% renewable sources, supplied by Ecotricity , saving on average, two tonnes of carbon dioxide per year...   Whenever possible, we cycle, or use the train, or combine the two. Don't think this means we'll arrive late or hot and sweaty - you won't notice the difference. And not a hint of lycra either...   We recycle all our waste paper and inkjet cartridges where possible, and can recommend some classy recycled paper stock called Revive if you're interested...   If the meeting's round the corner or in London, we'll bring the Brompton. Fast parking, no congestion charges and it goes on the tube too.   All of our coffee and most of our snacks are fair trade. We like a fair price for our work, and it seems reasonable to reciprocate...
